PASCO of MILLSBORO

WARRANTY INFORMATION:

We at Pasco have a policy in place about warranties and how they are handled.  We work for your benefit and have strived to be as fair as we can.  We also must consider what our manufactures policies are, and what they will accept as a warranty.  Each manufacturer has there own requirements that we must meet for us to get our product reimbursed when a product fails.  To bring us a defective unit, we must SEE the unit and test the unit by either the store or our main store in Salisbury.  Just because a mechanic or a store clerk say's the unit is bad, really doesn't mean anything until we determine if it is actually defective, broke by mishandling, wrong unit for the application, or other means.  WE WILL BE FAIR, and consider your investment with us.

Below are the BASIC TERMS of our warranty, Remember, these are only the basics:

Batteries:

              DEKA (East Penn)

1.  Most Automotive batteries  come with a 4 year warranty.  The first year is replaced for free, and the next 3 years of warranty are pro-rated.  The date on your receipt is the only Date we go by. Not the date punched out on the top of the battery.  It is up to you to supply the receipt, we will make an effort to pull your receipt up from our computer, but if we cannot find it, we will not process the warranty.

2.  The battery cannot be damaged, the labels removed, or on sealed batteries caps removed.

3.  A battery must be tested ONLY by a person from Pasco's.  A battery that has been sitting for a period of time and is sulfated will not be covered under warranty.  We will test and charge the battery to see if the battery is serviceable, and if the battery is just low on charge, the battery will be returned to you for the price of charging.

4.  A battery that is misused, or used in a wrong application, will not be covered under warranty.

5.  A battery that is used under a race application will not be covered under a warranty.

6.  A battery that is damaged by a faulty alternator or regulator with a over/ under charge rate will not be covered under the warranty.
